The company was opened on April 26, 1996 under the name Gradual Remittance, Inc. in Orlando, Florida — founded by two executives with the vision to serve the money remittance needs of Brazilians living in the United States and Brazilians in Brazil with cross-border business and investments.
In 1996, we became a licensed money transfer company through Florida Banking Licensing Services. In 2007, we adopted the name Star Business and Travel. In 2025, we became licensed by New Jersey Banking Licensing Services and adopted the name Remit4.
